![]() When the 'Customize Characters' window appears, select the guard on the far right. Before you start a new game, on the menu where you name your character, select customize. Thankfully, if you follow this guide, you won't have to deal with the contraband detectors OR the electrified fences.at least not in this prison. This can make for some difficult issues when trying to carry around important crafting items. Unfortunately, they not only detect metal but ALL contraband, including timber and duct tape. ![]() Contraband detectors are basically metal detectors placed in doorways of high-traffic areas on the prison. In the case of Stalag Flucht, you must now deal with electrified fences and contraband detectors. With each new prison, the guards and inmates become stronger and new features are introduced. As expected, it is a little more challenging than Centre Perks. Stalag Flucht is the second prison in The Escapists. Exit through the single door there to escape! Doing so will unlock. Follow the road straight down through the outer perimeter until you reach the main gate. Close out the window and head out the double doors on the bottom end of the prison (left of the cafeteria). With the music changes and the lock down starts, knock out a couple more guards until a pop-up notice notifies you that you've caused a prison takeover. With the baton equipped, start knocking out guards until a lock down ensues. Take his baton and equip it as the baton is one of the more powerful weapons in the game. Once you have your desired weapon equipped, attack a guard that is patrolling alone and knock him out. ![]() A rake can usually down a guard in one hit, so that's your best bet. The object here is to equip a weapon with enough power to take down a guard in one or two hits. If you cannot find a rake, try finding a sock and a bar of soap to make a sock mace. Once you're buffed up, start searching the desks for a rake to use as a weapon. Doing this allows you to not only do more damage to the guards and other inmates, but also take more damage before you're knocked out. After spending all the time you'd like in Centre Perks unlocking miscellaneous trophies, start the escape process by heading to the gym and building up your strength to a minimum of 50. While some ways are more subtle, the fastest way is to cause a lock down and walk out the front gate. As with most prisons in the game, there are many different ways to escape from Centre Perks. The poster is a reference to the 1994 film The Shawshank Redemption and serves the same purpose as in the film.Centre Perks is the first prison in the game and is the easiest to escape, by far.If you are sent to solitary, the poster is removed, however, due to a bug, the wall will not be repaired (checked for v1.37 of first game).Guards don't seem to care if you hang a poster on your wall using contraband. Despite having Duct Tape in the crafting recipe, it isn't contraband and doesn't trigger Contraband Detectors.The magazine's picture is different from the poster's, oddly enough.Also as a side note the poster's sprite is different on console versions, most likely because of ratings (The poster looks somewhat inappropriate in the computer version).It cannot be used on cut fences.īelow you will find the crafting recipe associated with this item. The Poster is a decorative item that can take the place of a wall to disguise what is on the other side.
